Knitted Lace Summer Dress

How to knit a lace dress:
Size: EU 38 (to UK 10 / US 6)
Materials:

350 g of yarn (100% mercerized cotton, 240 m per 50 g), knitting needles size 1.5 mm (US size 000 / UK size 18), knitting needles size 1 mm (US size 0000 / UK size 19) – for waist shaping

Lace Pattern:

The number of stitches is a multiple of 20 plus 2 edge stitches.
Work according to the chart, which shows only the right-side rows.
In the wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear; yarn overs are worked as purl stitches.

Back:

Cast on 140 stitches using the 1.5 mm needles and work in the lace pattern.

For waist shaping, make decreases as shown in Row 62 of the chart.

After 35 cm from the cast-on edge, change to 1 mm needles. In Row 72, make decreases.
Then continue working from Row 73 to Row 88 of the chart.

After 72 cm from the cast-on edge, change to 1.5 mm needles and continue from Row 89 of the chart.
In Rows 89 and 103, make increases as indicated on the chart.

For the armholes, at 78 cm from the cast-on edge (after Row 125), bind off 4 stitches on each side and decrease 3 stitches on each side in every second row, twice.

Continue working even.

For the neckline, at 97 cm from the cast-on edge, bind off the center 30 stitches and finish each side separately.
For rounding the inner edge of the neckline, bind off 10 stitches once, then 5 stitches once.
At the same time, for the shoulder slope, bind off 20 stitches once, then 10 stitches once on the outer edge.

Front:

Work the same as for the back, but for a deeper neckline, bind off the center 20 stitches (1 pattern repeat) already at 89 cm from the cast-on edge and finish each side separately.
To round the inner neckline edge, bind off 1 stitch twenty times.

Finishing:

Sew the shoulder and side seams.
Work one round of single crochet stitches around the armholes, neckline, and hemline, followed by one round of crab stitch (worked as single crochet from left to right).
