Lace Sweater with Wavy Edge

How to knit the Lace Sweater with Wavy Edge:
Sizes: UK 10/12 (20/22), US 6/8 (16/18), EU 36/38 (44/46)
Materials:
400 (500) g white yarn (100% cotton, 125 m/137 yds per 50 g); UK and US size 4 knitting needles (3.5 mm); UK and US crochet hook size C-2 (3 mm).

Stockinette Stitch: knit on right-side rows, purl on wrong-side rows.

Lace Pattern: multiple of 19 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Work according to chart, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, purl all stitches and yarn overs.
Repeat the pattern throughout between edge stitches.
Work Rows 1–30 once, then repeat Rows 31–52 throughout.

Gauge: 23 stitches and 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in).

Back:
Cast on 116 (135) stitches and work 1 wrong-side row purl.
Continue in Lace Pattern.
After 37.5 cm/14.75 in = 123 rows (35.5 cm/14 in = 117 rows) from cast-on, shape armholes by binding off 6 stitches at each side, then in every 2nd row bind off 3 stitches once, 2 stitches once and 1 stitch twice = 90 (109) stitches.
After 59 cm/23.25 in = 195 rows from cast-on, for neckline bind off the center 32 (37) stitches and finish both sides separately.
After 62 cm/24.5 in = 205 rows from cast-on, bind off the remaining 29 (36) shoulder stitches.

Front:
Work as for Back, but with a deeper neckline.
For this, after 45 cm/17.75 in = 149 rows from cast-on, divide the work in half and finish both sides separately.
For the neckline shaping, from the inner edge bind off 1 stitch 16 (18) times in every row.
Bind off the remaining 29 (36) shoulder stitches at the same height as the Back.

Sleeves:
Cast on 40 (59) stitches for each sleeve and work 1 wrong-side row purl.
Continue in Lace Pattern; for size 44/46 distribute the pattern from the center.
At the same time, for sleeve shaping increase 1 stitch at each side, beginning at Row 34 from cast-on, 27 times alternately in every 2nd and 4th row (20 times in every 4th row and 2 times in every 2nd row), incorporating the increased stitches into the pattern = 94 (103) stitches.
After 36 cm/14.25 in = 119 rows from cast-on, for sleeve cap shaping bind off 4 stitches at each side, then in the following 2nd row bind off 2 stitches once, in every 4th row 1 stitch 10 times, in every 2nd row 1 stitch 4 times, 2 stitches twice, 3 stitches once and 4 stitches once.
After 55 cm/21.75 in = 181 rows from cast-on, bind off the remaining 32 (41) stitches.

Finishing:
Join shoulder seams.
Work 1 round of single crochet and 1 round of crab stitch around the neckline (= single crochet worked from left to right).
Join side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
