Pullover with Lace Diamonds and Stripes

How to knit the Pullover with Lace Diamonds and Stripes:
Size: US 6–8 / UK 10–12 / EU 38–40
Materials:
600 g yarn (50% acrylic and 50% polyester, approx. 200 m per 100 g skein). Knitting needles size 8 (US) / 6 (UK) / 5 mm.
Ribbing Pattern (1/1): alternately knit 1, purl 1.
Lace Diamonds with Stripes:
Work following the chart, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Work once from row 1 to row 28, then repeat rows 5–26 throughout.
Gauge: 15 stitches x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in).
Front and Back: are worked the same.
Cast on 59 stitches and work in Ribbing Pattern (1/1).
After 2 cm (approx. ¾ in) from the beginning, continue in Lace Diamonds with Stripes pattern.
After 56 cm (approx. 22 in) from the beginning, bind off all stitches.
Sleeves:
Cast on 35 stitches and work in Ribbing Pattern (1/1).
After 2 cm (approx. ¾ in) from the beginning, continue in Lace Diamonds with Stripes pattern.
For sleeve shaping, increase 1 stitch on each side every 10th row 9 times.
After 46 cm (approx. 18 in) from the beginning, bind off all stitches.
Finishing:
Sew the shoulder seams 6 cm (approx. 2½ in) from each side.
Sew in the sleeves over 16 cm (approx. 6¼ in) on each side of the shoulder seams.
Sew the side and sleeve seams.
