How to knit the pullover with mesh pattern and cables:

Size: US 8–10 / UK 12–14.

Materials:

300 g yarn (50 % cotton, 50 % acrylic; 350 m/100 g); US size 0 / UK size 14 knitting needles; stitch holder.

Cable Pattern:

Work according to the chart, which shows only right side rows. On wrong side rows, work the stitches as they appear, work yarn overs as purl stitches. In height, repeat rows 1 to 12 continuously.

Mesh Pattern:

Row 1: * knit 2 stitches together, yarn over *, repeat from * to *.

Rows 2 and 4: purl stitches.

Row 3: * yarn over, knit 2 stitches together *, repeat from * to *.

In height, repeat rows 1 to 4 continuously.

Gauge: In mesh pattern: 16 stitches x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions: Work in one piece from right to left.

Right Sleeve:

Cast on 64 stitches and distribute the stitches as follows: 1 edge stitch, 20 stitches cable pattern, 22 stitches mesh pattern, 20 stitches cable pattern, 1 edge stitch.

Work 84 rows in this distribution.

For sleeve widening, increase 1 stitch on each side every 4th row 21 times = 106 stitches.

Back and Front:

On each side of the sleeve, cast on 74 stitches = 254 stitches.

Distribute the stitches as follows: 1 edge stitch, 20 stitches cable pattern, 30 stitches mesh pattern, 20 stitches cable pattern, 3 knit stitches, 22 stitches mesh pattern, 20 stitches cable pattern, 22 stitches mesh pattern, 20 stitches cable pattern, 22 stitches mesh pattern, 3 knit stitches, 20 stitches cable pattern, 30 stitches mesh pattern, 20 stitches cable pattern, 1 edge stitch.

Work 44 rows in this distribution.

For the neckline, bind off the center 22 stitches in the 129th row = 232 stitches.

Place the stitches of the front on a stitch holder.

Back (= 116 stitches):

Work straight for 72 rows and place the stitches on a stitch holder.

Front:

Transfer the held stitches of the front onto the needles and work straight for 72 rows, then place the stitches back on a stitch holder.

Transfer the held stitches of the back onto the needles and cast on additionally 22 stitches.

Transfer the stitches of the front onto the needles = 254 stitches.

Work straight for 44 rows.

Bind off 74 stitches on each side = 106 stitches.

Left Sleeve:

For sleeve narrowing, bind off 1 stitch on each side every 4th row 21 times = 64 stitches.

In the 329th row from the beginning, bind off all stitches.

Finishing:

Sew side seams and sleeve seams.
