Raglan Sweater with Lace Diamonds

How to knit the raglan sweater with lace diamonds:
Size: US 8–10 / UK 12–14 (EU 38–40).
Materials:
600 g yarn (50% cotton, 50% acrylic; 280 m/100 g); straight and circular knitting needles size US 2.5 (3 mm) / UK 11.
Ribbing Pattern 2/2: * knit 2, purl 2 * repeat.
Lace Diamonds Pattern:
Work according to the chart, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work stitches and yarn overs as purl.
In height, always repeat rows 1–38.
Cable Pattern (over 4 sts):
Row 1 (RS): cross 4 sts to the left (= slip 2 sts onto a cable needle and hold in front of work, knit 2, then knit 2 from cable needle).
Rows 2 and 4 (WS): purl all sts.
Row 3: knit all sts.
Repeat these 4 rows in height.
Gauge: 24 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in.
Back:
Cast on 118 sts and work 4 cm / 1½ in in ribbing, at the same time in the last WS row evenly increase 5 sts from the horizontal strand between sts, knit through the back loop = 123 sts.
Continue in lace diamonds pattern and distribute sts as follows: 1 edge st, 6 sts before pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat 6 times, 7 sts after pattern repeat, 1 edge st.
At 42 cm / 16½ in from cast-on, for raglan bands work at the beginning of row: * 1 edge st, purl 1, 4 sts cable pattern, purl 2 *, and at the end of row: * purl 2, 4 sts cable pattern, purl 1, 1 edge st *, on remaining sts continue in lace diamonds pattern.
In every RS row on both sides decrease 35 times by working the last st of lace diamonds pattern together with the outer st of raglan band as purl = 53 sts.
At 65 cm / 25½ in from cast-on, bind off all sts.

Front:
Work same as back, but work raglan decreases 30 times only.
For neckline, at 60 cm / 23½ in from cast-on, bind off the center 17 sts and finish both sides separately.
For rounding, at inner edge bind off in every 2nd row 4 times 3 sts, 2 times 2 sts, and 1 time 7 sts.
Right Sleeve:
Cast on 46 sts and work 4 cm / 1½ in in ribbing, at the same time in the last WS row evenly increase 5 sts = 51 sts.
Continue in lace diamonds pattern and distribute sts as follows: 1 edge st, 6 sts before pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat 2 times, 7 sts after pattern repeat, 1 edge st.
At 9 cm / 3½ in from cast-on, increase on both sides in every 6th row 15 times 1 st = 81 sts.
At 48 cm / 19 in from cast-on, for raglan bands work 30 times decreases as described for back.
Then continue raglan decreases at left side and at right side bind off in every 2nd row 1 time 3 sts, 3 times 2 sts, and 1 time 7 sts.
Left Sleeve:
Work opposite to right sleeve.
Finishing:
Sew raglan seams.
For neckline band, pick up 136 sts along neckline edge with circular needles, work 4 cm / 1½ in in ribbing in rounds and bind off all sts.
Sew side and sleeve seams.
