Sweater in Lace Pattern

How to knit the Sweater in Lace Pattern “Sunlit Waves”:
Sizes: US 14/16 (22/24), UK 18/20 (26/28), EU 42/44 (50/52).
Materials:
600 (750) g yarn (50% cotton, 50% viscose; 120 yd/1.76 oz); US 2 and US 6 knitting needles (3 mm and 4 mm); US 2 circular needle (3 mm), 16 in. long (40 cm).

Ribbing Pattern, US 2 needles: *Knit 1, purl 1; repeat from * throughout.

Lace Pattern (main pattern), US 6 needles:
Work according to chart, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, work stitches as they appear and purl the yarn overs.
Work Rows 1–22 once, then repeat Rows 3–22 throughout.

Gauge: 25 stitches and 30 rows = 4 x 4 in. (10 x 10 cm).

Back:
Cast on 147 (171) stitches and work 0.4 in. (1 cm) in Ribbing Pattern, beginning in Row 1 (wrong-side row) after the edge stitch with 1 purl stitch.
Continue in the main pattern as follows: edge stitch, 6 (7) pattern repeats, first stitch of the pattern repeat, edge stitch.
When the piece measures 26 (26.75) in. [66 (68) cm] from the cast-on edge, bind off the center 33 (45) stitches for the neckline and on both sides bind off 3 stitches twice in every second row.
When the piece measures 26.75 (27.5) in. [68 (70) cm] from the cast-on edge, bind off the remaining stitches of each shoulder.


Front:
Work as for the Back, but with a deeper neckline.
When the piece measures 19 (19.75) in. [48 (50) cm] from the cast-on edge, bind off the center 15 (21) stitches, then on both sides in every second row bind off 4 stitches once, 3 stitches once, 2 stitches once and 1 stitch 4 times (6 times), then in every fourth row bind off 1 stitch 2 times (3 times).
When the piece measures 26.75 (27.5) in. [68 (70) cm] from the cast-on edge, bind off the remaining stitches of each shoulder.

Sleeves:
Cast on 75 (99) stitches for each sleeve and work 0.4 in. (1 cm) in Ribbing Pattern, beginning in Row 1 (wrong-side row) after the edge stitch with 1 purl stitch.
Continue in the main pattern as follows: edge stitch, 3 (4) pattern repeats, first stitch of the pattern repeat, edge stitch.
For sleeve shaping, for size 42/44 increase 1 stitch 19 times alternately in every second and fourth row on both sides.
For size 50/52 increase 1 stitch 8 times alternately in every fourth and sixth row, then increase 1 stitch 9 times in every fourth row = 113 (133) stitches.
When the sleeve measures 8.25 (11) in. [21 (28) cm] from the cast-on edge, bind off all stitches.

Finishing:
Sew shoulder and side seams and set in the sleeves.
Using the circular needle, pick up 180 (200) stitches around the neckline, work 0.75 in. (2 cm) in Ribbing Pattern and bind off loosely.
