Oversized Sweater with Lace Cables

How to knit the sweater with lace cables:
Size: US 6–10/UK 10–14.
Materials:
550 g of yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic; 250 m/100 g); straight and circular knitting needles size 3 mm (US 2½ / UK 11).

Stockinette Stitch: knit on right side, purl on wrong side.
Ribbing Pattern 2/1: *knit 2, purl 1*, repeat across the row.
Ribbing Pattern 2/2: *knit 2, purl 2*, repeat across the row.
Ribbing Pattern 2/3: *knit 2, purl 3*, repeat across the row.
Ribbing Pattern 3/2: *knit 3, purl 2*, repeat across the row.
Ribbing Pattern 3/3: *knit 3, purl 3*, repeat across the row.
Cable Pattern 1:
Work according to Chart 1, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear.
Repeat Rows 1–24 throughout.
Cable Pattern 2:
Work according to Chart 2, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear.
Repeat Rows 1–24 throughout.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to Chart 3, which shows right-side rows only.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Repeat Rows 1–14 throughout.

Gauge:
Stockinette stitch: 22 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in).

The sweater is knitted from the top down.

1/4 of the sweater:
Cast on 71 sts and work 112 rows as follows:
1 edge st, 2 knit sts, 10 sts in Cable Pattern 1, 11 sts in Cable Pattern 2,
23 sts in Lace Pattern, 11 sts in Cable Pattern 2, 10 sts in Cable Pattern 1,
2 knit sts, 1 edge st.
To widen, increase 1 st in stockinette stitch at both sides,
then every 2nd row 21 times 1 st, and every 4th row 22 times 1 st in stockinette stitch = 159 sts.
Work 3 more identical parts.

Finishing:
Sew all parts together.
For the collar, pick up 280 sts around the neckline with circular needles and work 10 rows in Double Ribbing Pattern 3/3.
In the 11th row, knit every 2 knit sts together and work 5 rows in Ribbing Pattern 2/3.
In the 17th row, purl every 2 purl sts together and work 5 rows in Ribbing Pattern 2/2.
In the 23rd row, purl every 2 purl sts together and work 30 rows in Ribbing Pattern 2/1.
In the 54th row, from each purl st, purl 2 sts and work 15 rows in Ribbing Pattern 2/2.
In the 70th row, from each knit st, knit 2 sts and work 12 rows in Ribbing Pattern 3/2.
In the 83rd row, from each purl st, purl 2 sts and work 12 rows in Ribbing Pattern 3/3.
In the 95th row, add one more strand of yarn and work 3 rows in Ribbing Pattern 3/3.
In the 98th row, bind off all sts.

For the lower edge of the front and back, pick up 300 sts with circular needles, work 10 rows in Ribbing Pattern 2/2, and bind off.
For the sleeve edges, pick up 150 sts, work 10 rows in Ribbing Pattern 2/2, and bind off.
