Sweater with Lace Sleeves and Collar
Knitting pattern for the pullover with lace sleeves and collar:
Size: US 8 / UK 12 (EU 40)
Materials:
350 grams of yarn (42 percent nylon, 29 percent wool, 29 percent acrylic; 120 meters per 50 grams);
4 mm knitting needles.
Stockinette stitch: On right-side rows work knit stitches, on wrong-side rows work purl stitches.
Lace pattern:
Work according to the chart, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Gauge: 19 stitches and 26 rows = 10 x 10 centimeters.
Back:
Cast on 80 stitches using the long-tail cross cast-on and work 3 rows with purl stitches.
Then work 72 rows in stockinette stitch.
At a height of 28 centimeters from the cast-on edge, for the slanted sides, increase on both sides on every right-side row:
3 times 1 stitch, 2 times 2 stitches, and 1 time 30 stitches (= 154 stitches).
Then work 50 rows in stockinette stitch.
At a height of 52 centimeters from the cast-on edge, for the neckline, bind off the center 16 stitches and finish both sides separately.
For the neckline shaping, bind off at the inner edge on every second row:
1 time 6 stitches, 1 time 4 stitches, and 1 time 2 stitches.
Then bind off the remaining 57 stitches.
Front:
Cast on 80 stitches using the long-tail cross cast-on and work 3 rows with purl stitches.
Then work 72 rows in stockinette stitch.
At a height of 28 centimeters from the cast-on edge, for the slanted sides, increase on both sides on every right-side row:
3 times 1 stitch, 2 times 2 stitches, and 1 time 30 stitches (= 154 stitches).
Then work 28 rows in stockinette stitch.
At a height of 41 centimeters from the cast-on edge, for the neckline, bind off the center 8 stitches and finish both sides separately.
For the neckline shaping, bind off at the inner edge on every second row:
1 time 3 stitches and 13 times 1 stitch.
Then bind off the remaining 57 stitches.
Sleeves:
Sew the shoulder seams.
For each sleeve, pick up 62 stitches and work 2 rows in stockinette stitch.
Then decrease 18 stitches evenly and work the remaining 44 stitches in the lace pattern according to the chart as follows:
Edge stitch, 1 purl stitch, 7 stitches of the pattern, repeat the 7 pattern stitches 5 times, 5 pattern stitches, 1 purl stitch, edge stitch.
Work 80 rows, then work 3 rows with purl stitches.
Bind off all stitches.
Finishing:
Sew the side seams.
Along the neckline, pick up 126 stitches and work 50 rows in the lace pattern according to the chart.
Then work 3 rows with purl stitches and bind off all stitches.
