Sweater with lace stripes

Knitting instructions for sweater with openwork stripe:
Sizes: UK 8/10 (12/14) 16/18; US 4/6 (8/10) 12/14)
Materials:
450 (500) 550 g (50% mohair, 50% polyacrylic, 150 m/50 g). Straight needles size 3 mm (US 2.5) and 3.5 mm (US 4). Circular needle size 3 mm (US 2.5).

Garter stitch, back and forth rows: knit right side and wrong side rows.
In rounds: alternately Knit 1 round, Purl 1 round.
Stockinette stitch, back and forth rows: knit right side rows, purl wrong side rows.
In rounds: Knit all stitches.
Transverse stripes: * 6 rows Stockinette stitch, 4 rows Garter stitch, repeat from * throughout.
Openwork stripe (width 27 stitches):
Work according to chart.
Right side and wrong side rows are shown.
Repeat Rows 1-10.
Gauge (average): 22 stitches and 31.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Transverse stripes: 19.5 stitches and 31.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back:
Cast on 102 (110) 118 stitches with size 3 mm needles.
Work 2 cm in Garter stitch.
In the last row increase 13 stitches evenly = 115 (123) 131 stitches.
Continue with size 3.5 mm needles as follows:
Edge stitch, * 8 (10) 12 stitches Transverse stripes, 27 stitches Openwork stripe.
Repeat from * 2 more times.
End with 8 (10) 12 stitches Transverse stripes, edge stitch.
At 41.5 cm = 130 rows from band, bind off for armholes on both sides in every 2nd row 1 x 2 and 4 x 1 stitch = 103 (111) 119 stitches.
At 68 cm = 214 rows from band, bind off center 35 stitches for neckline.
Finish each side separately.
For rounding at inner edge bind off in every 2nd row 1 x 2 and 1 x 1 stitch.
At 70 cm = 220 rows from band, bind off remaining 31 (35) 39 shoulder stitches.

Front:
Work as for Back, but with deeper neckline.
At 67 cm = 212 rows from band bind off center 25 stitches.
For rounding bind off in every 2nd row 2 x 3 and 1 x 2 stitches.
Sleeves:
Cast on 50 stitches with size 3 mm needles.
Work 2 cm in Garter stitch.
Continue with size 3.5 mm needles in Transverse stripes pattern.
At the same time, for bevels increase on both sides from band 26 x 1 stitch alternately in every 4th and 6th row.
Incorporate increased stitches into pattern = 102 stitches.
At 43 cm = 136 rows from band bind off for sleeve cap on both sides in every 2nd row 1 x 5, 4 x 4, 4 x 3 and 1 x 6 stitches.
At 49.5 cm = 156 rows from band bind off remaining 24 stitches.
Finishing:
Perform shoulder seams.
For neckline, pick up 90 stitches from inner side with circular needle.
Work 80 rows in Transverse stripes pattern.
Then bind off all stitches.
Sew in sleeves.
Perform side and sleeve seams.
