Sweater with Pattern Mix

How to knit the Sweater with Pattern Mix:
Sizes: US 6/8 (UK 10/12, EU 38/40)
Materials:
650 g (100% wool, yardage approx. 80 m/50 g). Knitting needles and circular needles size 5 mm (US 8).
Ribbing Pattern: alternate 2 knit stitches and 2 purl stitches.
Stockinette Stitch: knit stitches on right-side rows, purl stitches on wrong-side rows.
Reverse Stockinette Stitch: purl stitches on right-side rows, knit stitches on wrong-side rows.
Chessboard Pattern:
Rows 1 and 2: work in Stockinette Stitch.
Rows 3 and 4: *work 2 stitches in Stockinette Stitch, 2 stitches in Reverse Stockinette Stitch, repeat from *, end with 2 stitches in Stockinette Stitch.
Rows 5 and 6: *work 2 stitches in Reverse Stockinette Stitch, 2 stitches in Stockinette Stitch, repeat from *, end with 2 stitches in Reverse Stockinette Stitch.
Work rows 1–6 once, then repeat rows 3–6 throughout.
Horizontal Ribbing Pattern: *work 2 rows in Reverse Stockinette Stitch, 4 rows in Stockinette Stitch, repeat from * throughout.
Cable A (over 4 stitches):
Row 1: purl 1 stitch, cross 2 stitches to the left (= place 1 stitch on a cable needle in front of work, knit 1 stitch, then knit the stitch from the cable needle), purl 1 stitch.
Rows 2 and 4: work the stitches as they appear.
Row 3: purl 1 stitch, cross 2 stitches to the right (= place 1 stitch on a cable needle behind work, knit 1 stitch, then knit the stitch from the cable needle), purl 1 stitch.
Repeat rows 1–4 throughout.
Cable B (over 28 stitches):
Work according to chart 1, only right-side rows are shown.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear.
Work rows 1–20 once, then repeat rows 9–20 throughout.
Lace Pattern: stitch number multiple of 6 + 3.
Work according to chart 2, only right-side rows are shown.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Begin with the stitches before the repeat, repeat the pattern repeat throughout, end with the stitches after the repeat.
Begin with 2 rows in Stockinette Stitch, then repeat rows 1–12 throughout and finish the pattern with 2 rows in Stockinette Stitch.
Zigzag Pattern: stitch number multiple of 9 + 3.
Work according to chart 3, only right-side rows are shown.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear.
Repeat the pattern repeat throughout, end with the stitches after the repeat.
Repeat rows 1–16 throughout.

Pattern Sequence: 2 rows in Reverse Stockinette Stitch, 32 rows Chessboard Pattern, 40 rows Horizontal Ribbing Pattern, beginning with 4 rows in Stockinette Stitch.
Average gauge: 18.5 stitches and 26.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Front:
Cast on 94 stitches with an elastic cast-on and work 7 cm = 18 rows in the Chessboard Pattern for the lower band, repeating rows 3–6.
Continue as follows:
Rows 1–46: edge stitch, last 14 stitches of Cable B, 4 stitches Cable A, 27 stitches Lace Pattern, 4 stitches Cable A, 39 stitches Zigzag Pattern, 4 stitches Cable A, edge stitch.
Rows 47–60: work in Horizontal Ribbing Pattern.
Rows 61–92: edge stitch, 28 stitches Horizontal Ribbing Pattern, 4 stitches Cable A, 28 stitches Cable B, 4 stitches Cable A, 28 stitches Chessboard Pattern, edge stitch.
Rows 93–146: edge stitch, 28 stitches Zigzag Pattern (beginning with 7 stitches in Stockinette Stitch), 4 stitches Cable A, 28 stitches Cable B, 4 stitches Cable A, 28 stitches Lace Pattern, edge stitch.
At the same time, for the armholes, after 35 cm = 92 rows from the lower band, bind off on both sides 3 stitches once, then bind off 1 stitch 5 times every 2nd row = 78 stitches.
For the neckline, after 49 cm = 130 rows from the lower band, bind off the center 12 stitches and finish both sides separately.
For the shaping at the inner edge, bind off in every 2nd row 4 stitches once, 3 stitches once, 2 stitches once, and 1 stitch twice, then in the next 4th row bind off 1 stitch once more.
After 55 cm = 146 rows from the lower band, bind off the remaining 21 shoulder stitches on each side.
Back:
Work symmetrically, however with a smaller neckline.
For this, after 53 cm = 140 rows from the lower band, bind off the center 24 stitches and then bind off 3 stitches twice every 2nd row.
Sleeve:
Cast on 48 stitches with an elastic cast-on and work as follows: edge stitch, 5 stitches in Stockinette Stitch, 4 stitches Cable A, 28 stitches Cable B, 4 stitches Cable A, 5 stitches in Stockinette Stitch, edge stitch.
For the sleeve shaping, increase on both sides 1 stitch 10 times every 10th row according to the pattern, and at the same time, after 26.5 cm = 70 rows from the beginning, continue working with the Pattern Sequence = 68 stitches.
For the sleeve cap, after 41.5 cm = 110 rows from the beginning, bind off on both sides 3 stitches once, then in every 2nd row bind off 2 stitches 4 times, 1 stitch 9 times, 2 stitches once, and 3 stitches twice.
After 54.5 cm = 144 rows from the beginning, bind off the remaining 12 stitches.
Finishing:
Join the shoulder seams.
Using circular needles, pick up 100 stitches evenly around the neckline, work 2 rounds of purl stitches and 4 cm in Ribbing Pattern, then bind off all stitches according to the pattern.
Set in the sleeves, join the side seams and sleeve seams.
