Lace Pattern:
Work according to Chart 2, which shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear and purl the yarn overs.
Work one pattern repeat of 27 stitches across.
Repeat rows 1–12 throughout in height.
Gauge (needles size 3.5 mm / US 4, in stockinette stitch): 22 stitches and 29 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4 in).
Back:
With needles size 3 mm (US 2½), cast on 102 stitches and work 6 cm (2⅜ in) in ribbing pattern.
In the last row, increase evenly 27 stitches = 129 stitches total.
Continue with needles size 3.5 mm (US 4) in the following sequence: 1 edge stitch, 50 stitches in stockinette stitch, 27 stitches in lace pattern, 50 stitches in stockinette stitch, 1 edge stitch.
After 30 cm (11¾ in) from the ribbing, shape the raglan armholes by decreasing 1 stitch at each side every 2nd row 20 times, then alternating every 2nd and 4th row 6 times = 77 stitches remain.
Work decreases as follows: at the right edge, knit the 4th and 5th stitches together through the back loops; at the left edge, knit the 4th and 5th stitches together.
After the last decrease (50 cm / 19¾ in from ribbing), leave all stitches on hold.
For the neckline, put the center 31 stitches on hold and continue each side separately, binding off at the neck edge every 2nd row: 1 time 5 stitches, 1 time 3 stitches, and 1 time 2 stitches.
Leave the remaining stitches (about 50 on each side) on hold.
Front:
Work the same
as the back, but with a deeper neckline.
After 46 cm (18 in) from ribbing, place the center 47 stitches on hold and continue both sides separately, leaving 3 stitches on hold at the neckline edge in every 2nd row.
At the same time, continue the raglan decreases.
Sleeves:
With needles size 3 mm (US 2½), cast on 52 stitches and work 5 cm (2 in) in ribbing pattern, increasing 19 stitches evenly across the last row = 71 stitches total.
Continue with needles size 3.5 mm (US 4) as follows: 1 edge stitch, 21 stitches in stockinette stitch, 27 stitches in lace pattern, 20 stitches in stockinette stitch, 1 edge stitch.
For sleeve shaping, increase 1 stitch at each side every 4th row 19 times, then alternating every 2nd and 4th row 12 times = 133 stitches total.
After 39 cm (15⅜ in) from ribbing, for raglan shaping, bind off 3 stitches 10 times and 2 stitches 7 times at both sides every 2nd row = 45 stitches.
At the same time, after 48 cm (18⅞ in) from ribbing, leave the center 27 stitches on hold and work each side separately.
At the inner edge, bind off every 2nd row 1 time 4 stitches, 2 times 2 stitches, and 1 time 1 stitch.
Work the second side symmetrically.
Work the second sleeve the same way.
Finishing:
Transfer all held stitches of the back, front, and sleeves to the circular needle (80 cm / 32 in), arranging the sleeves between front and back = 244 stitches.
Work in the round in textured pattern, decreasing evenly across the first round by knitting 2 stitches together 10 times = 234 stitches.
In the 9th, 15th, 23rd, 29th, and 33rd rounds, within each motif, knit together the 2 stitches marked on the chart = 144 stitches.
After completing the last round of the textured pattern, work 6 rounds in garter stitch, decreasing evenly 18 stitches = 126 stitches.
Transfer stitches to the short circular needle and work 5 cm (2 in) in ribbing pattern, then bind off loosely.
Sew the seams.
