Cable Stitch Knitting Pattern #118

How to knit the Cable Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 28 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 30 stitches (28 + 2 edge stitches) and knit according to the chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work stitches as they appear.
The pattern repeat is 28 stitches wide.
Repeat pattern between edge stitches throughout.
Abbreviation:
k: knit stitch
p: purl stitch
cross 6 sts left: slip 3 stitches to cable needle, hold to front, k3, k3 from cable needle
cross 6 sts right: slip 3 stitches to cable needle, hold to back, k3, k3 from cable needle
