Cable Stitch Knitting Pattern #120
How to knit the Cable Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 20 stitches + 2 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 24 stitches (20 + 2 + 2 edge stitches) and knit according to the chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work stitches as they appear.
The pattern repeat is 20 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 2 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

k: knit stitch
p: purl stitch
1 st in garter stitch (gst): Knit in right side and wrong side rows
сross 3 sts right: slip 1 st to cable needle, hold to back, k2, k1 from cable needle
сross 3 sts left: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to front, k1, k2 from cable needle
сross 3 sts right (gst): slip 1 st to cable needle, hold to back, k2, garter st from cable needle
cross 3 sts left (gst): slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to front, garter st, k2 from cable needle
