How to knit the Fantasy Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 14 stitches + 5 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 21 stitches (1 + 14 + 4 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.
The chart shows right-side rows and wrong-side rows.
The numbers at right edge of chart indicate right-side rows, and at left edge wrong-side rows.
Read right-side rows from right to left, wrong-side rows from left to right.
The pattern repeat is 14 stitches wide.
Abbreviation:
k: knit stitch
p: purl stitch
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
C4F (k1+p2+k1): slip 1 sts to 1st cable needle and hold in back; slip 2 sts to 2nd cable needle and hold in back; K1; then P2 from 2nd cable needle and K1 from 1st cable needle
