Lace Cable Stitch Knitting Pattern #120

How to knit the Lace Cable Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 11 stitches + 3 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 16 stitches (11 + 3 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work all stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
The pattern repeat is 11 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch, repeat the pattern throughout, end with 3 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

Abbreviation:
k: knit stitch
p: purl stitch
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cross 8 sts right: slip 4 stitches to cable needle, hold to back, K4, K4 from cable needle

Written row-by-row instructions:
Row 1 (right side): 1 edge stitch, * p3, k8 *; repeat from * to *; end with p3, 1 edge stitch.
Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): work sts as they appear; purl the yarn overs.

Row 3: 1 edge stitch, * p3, cross 8 sts right *; repeat from * to *; end with p3, 1 edge stitch.
Rows 5 and 7: work as for Row 1.
Row 9: work as for Row 3.
Row 11: 1 edge stitch, * p3, yo, skpo, k4, k2tog, yo *; repeat from * to *; end with p3, 1 edge stitch.
