How to knit the Diamond Lace Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 12 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 14 stitches (12 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.
The chart shows only the right-side rows.
On the wrong-side rows, purl all the stitches and any yarn overs.
The pattern repeat is 12 stitches wide.
Repeat pattern between edge stitches throughout.
Abbreviation:
k: knit
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): Purl.
