Lace Leaf Stitch Knitting Pattern #170

How to knit the Lace Leaf Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 8 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 19 stitches (3 + 8 + 6 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work stitches as they appear; purl the yarn overs.
The pattern repeat is 8 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch and 3 stitches before the pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 6 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

Abbreviation:
k: knit stitch
p: purl stitch
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Rows 1, 3 and 5 (right side): 1 edge stitch, k1, yo, skpo, * p1, k1, p1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo *; repeat from * to *; p1, k1, p1, k2tog, yo, k1, 1 edge stitch.
Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): work sts as they appear; purl the yarn overs.

Row 7: 1 edge stitch, k1, p1, yo, * skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, p1, k1, p1, yo *; repeat from * to *; skpo, k1, k2tog, yo, p1, k1, 1 edge stitch.
