Lace Leaves Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit the Lace Leaves Stitch: 

Work with a multiple of 19 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 21 stitches (19 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.

The chart shows right side rows and wrong-side rows.

The numbers at right edge of chart indicate right side rows, and at left edge wrong side rows.

Read right side rows from right to left, wrong side rows from left to right.

The pattern repeat is 19 stitches wide.

k: knit

p: purl

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

p2tog: purl 2 stitches together as one

p2tog tbl: purl 2 stitches together as one stitch through the back loop

Rows 1, 5 and 9 (right side): edge stitch, * p1, yo, k3, skpo, k3, p1, k3, k2tog, k3, yo, p1 *; repeat from * to *; end with the edge stitch.

Rows 2, 6 and 10 (wrong side): edge stitch, * k1, p1, yo, p3, p2tog, p2, k1, p2, p2tog tbl, p3, yo, p1, k1 *; repeat from * to *; end with the edge stitch.

Rows 3, 7 and 11: edge stitch, * p1, k2, yo, k3, skpo, k1, p1, k1, k2tog, k3, yo, k2, p1 *; repeat from * to *; end with the edge stitch.

Rows 4, 8 and 12: edge stitch, * k1, p3, yo, p3, p2tog, k1, p2tog tbl, p3, yo, p3, k1 *; repeat from * to *; end with the edge stitch.
