How to knit the Lace Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 23 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 25 stitches (23 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear; work the yarn overs as given in instructions.
The pattern repeat is 23 stitches wide.
Repeat the pattern between edge stitches throughout.
Abbreviation:
k: Knit
p: Purl
yo: yarn over. On wrong-side rows, purl the yarn over.
yo*: yarn over. On wrong-side rows, knit the yarn over.
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
p2tog: purl 2 stitches together
p2tog tbl: purl 2 stitches together through the back loop
