Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern #384

How to knit the Lace Pattern:
Work with a multiple of 19 stitches + 5 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 26 stitches (19 + 5 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, purl all stitches and the yarn overs.
The pattern repeat is 19 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 5 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

Abbreviation:
k: knit stitch
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches
cross 2 sts right: skip 1 st, knit 2nd st before first st, without dropping from LH needle, knit the first st, drop both sts from LH needle
cross 2 sts left: knit through the back loop 2nd st behind first st, without dropping from LH needle, knit the first st, drop both sts from LH needle

Written row-by-row instructions:
Row 1 (right side): 1 edge stitch, * k5, yo, cross 2 sts left, skpo, k6, k2tog, cross 2 sts right, yo *; repeat from * to *; end with k5 and 1 edge stitch.
Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): purl all stitches and the yarn overs.

Row 3: 1 edge stitch, * k1, yo, sk2p, yo, k2, yo, cross 2 sts left, skpo, k4, k2tog, cross 2 sts right, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; k1, yo, sk2p, yo, k1, 1 edge stitch.
