Leaves Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit the Leaf Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 10 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 23 stitches (5 + 10 + 6 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, purl all stitches and any yarn-over loops.
The pattern repeat = 10 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 stitch and 5 stitches before the pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 6 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 stitch.
Abbreviation:
k: Knit
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1 (right side): edge stitch, k2tog, k3, yo, * k1, yo, k3, cdd, k3, yo *; repeat from * to *; k1, yo, k3, skpo, edge stitch.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): Purl.

Row 3: edge stitch, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, * k2, yo, k2, cdd, k2, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; k2, yo, k2, skpo, edge stitch.
Row 5: edge stitch, k2tog, k1, yo, k2, * k3, yo, k1, cdd, k1, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *; k3, yo, k1, skpo, edge stitch.
Row 7: edge stitch, k2tog, yo, k3, * k4, yo, cdd, yo, k3 *; repeat from * to *; k4, yo, skpo, edge stitch.
