Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern #27

How to knit the Mesh Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 6 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 15 stitches (1 + 6 + 6 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.
The chart shows only right-side rows.
On wrong-side rows, work the stitches as they appear; work the yarn overs purl.
The pattern repeat is 6 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch and stitch before the pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 6 stitches after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.

Abbreviation:
k: Knit
p: Purl
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch
p2tog: purl 2 stitches together
p3tog: purl 3 stitches together

Written row-by-row instructions:
Row 1 (right side): 1 edge stitch, k1, * yo, p1, p3tog, p1, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; yo, p1, p3tog, p1, yo, k1, 1 edge stitch.
Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): work the stitches as they appear; purl the yarn overs.

Row 3: 1 edge stitch, k1, * k1, yo, cdd, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *; k1, yo, cdd, yo, k2, 1 edge stitch.
Row 5: 1 edge stitch, p2tog, * p1, yo, k1, yo, p1, p3tog *; repeat from * to *; p1, yo, k1, yo, p1, p2tog, 1 edge stitch.
Row 7: 1 edge stitch, k2tog, * yo, k3, yo, cdd *; repeat from * to *; yo, k3, yo, skpo, 1 edge stitch.
Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
