How to knit the Relief Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 13 stitches + 7 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 22 stitches (13 + 7 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.
The chart shows right side and wrong side rows.
The numbers at the right edge indicate right side rows, and those at the left edge indicate wrong-side rows.
Read right side rows from right to left and wrong side rows from left to right.
The pattern repeat is 13 stitches wide.

k: knit stitch
p: purl stitch
kyotog: knit the stitch together with the yarn over
slip wyib with yo: make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch purlwise
