Textured Diamond Knitting Pattern

Work with a multiple of 18 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 21 stitches (18 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.

The chart shows right-side rows and wrong-side rows.

The numbers at right edge of chart indicate right-side rows, and at left edge wrong-side rows.

Read right-side rows from right to left, wrong-side rows from left to right.

The pattern repeat is 18 stitches wide.

Begin with wrong-side row (Row 0 - Set-up row).

k: knit

p: purl

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cross 3 sts right: slip 1 st to cable needle, hold to back, K2, K1 from cable needle

cross 3 sts left: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to front, K1, K2 from cable needle

slstwithyo: make 1 yarn over, pass 1 stitch over on the right needle purlwise
