Textured Stitch Knitting Pattern #71

How to knit the Textured Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 4 stitches + 3 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 13 stitches (4 stitches 2 times + 3 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.
The chart shows right-side and wrong-side rows.
The numbers at the right edge indicate right-side rows, and those at the left edge indicate wrong-side rows.
Read right-side rows from right to left and wrong-side rows from left to right.
The pattern repeat is 4 stitches wide.
Begin with the 1st wrong-side row.
Abbreviation:
k: knit stitch
p: purl stitch
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
work 3 stitches from 1 stitch: insert the right needle between the first and the second stitch, pull up a loop, make 1 yarn over, knit the next stitch

Written row-by-row instructions:
Row 1 (wrong side): 1 edge stitchitch, * p3, k1 *; repeat from * to *; end with p3, 1 edge stitch.
Row 2 (right side): 1 edge stitch, * p1, work 3 stitches from 1 stitch, p2 *; repeat from * to *; end with p1, work 3 stitches from 1 stitch, p1, 1 edge stitch.
Row 3: 1 edge stitch, * k1, p3, k2 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, p3, k1, 1 edge stitch.
Row 4: 1 edge stitch, * k2tog, k1, skpo, p1 *; repeat from * to *; end with k2tog, k1, skpo, 1 edge stitch
Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
