How to knit the Twisted Diamond Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 10 stitches + 2 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 24 stitches (1 + 10 + 10 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to the chart.
The chart shows only the right-side rows.
On the wrong-side rows, purl all the stitches.
The pattern repeat is 10 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch and 1 stitch before the pattern repeat, work the pattern repeat throughout, end with 1 stitch after the pattern repeat and 1 edge stitch.
cross 2 sts right (sl): slip 1 stitch to cable needle, hold to back, slip 1 stitch purlwise to right needle, K1 from cable needle
cross 2 sts left (sl): slip 1 stitch to cable needle, hold to front, K1, slip 1 stitch purlwise from cable needle to right needle
